Let's imagine a long walk through the narrow streets of the historic center of Naples and imagine we want to refresh ourselves after a long day spent among the wonders of the historic city center. Anyone would want to try the specialties of the best taverns and the best restaurants in the historic center, but with the continuous proliferation of more and more shops offering food at any time, it has become really complicated to disentangle the best places to eat rediscovering extraordinary recipes, with an ancient flavor, such as the Neapolitan scarpariello, a must of the Neapolitan cuisine.

But then, the question everyone is asking is: what is the best pizzeria in Naples? This, for the Neapolitans, is a complicated subject. Despite, in fact, it is also clear to the Neapolitans that not all the pizzerias in Naples can really be defined as such, every Neapolitan will inevitably have its best pizzeria in the city. It will be a matter of habit, a matter of taste, a question of space and time, but the theories on what really are the best pizzerias in Naples are varied and hardly concordant. On top of the preferences of the Neapolitans you will undoubtedly find Da Michele, Sorbillo, Di Matteo and the Pizzeria of the President. At the appeal, especially if we include the Fritta Pizza in the list of the best pizzerias, it is impossible not to include also the President's Daughter, Zia Esterina and the Ancient Fry of Masardona. Don't expect a ranking of the best pizzerias or restaurants / taverns; it is difficult: all the choices can be different for some details but the final result is that of the continuous desire to return to Naples and taste the Neapolitan delicacies.
